Easy Access to Run Dialog Window

Run shortcut iconThere are so many Windows programs can accessed through Run dialog box. For example Registry Editor, Group Policy, Command Prompt, etc.. For you who often work with Run command, perhaps accessed it more then ten times a day. It gonna be a long way when you should click Start then click on Run to display Run dialog window. So, to enable quick access to Run dialog window, there some ways you can use.

To access Run command quickly you can use a keyboard shortcut. You can press the combination of Windows key and R key on your keyboard. Now, press the Windows key and R key at the same time to test it. Does the Run appear? If it doesn’t appear, make sure you have press both key exactly at a same times.

The second way to make an easy access to Run is by creating Run shortcut icon on your desktop. With a shortcut icon on the desktop, you just make a single click to open Run dialog. Here are steps to create run shortcut on your desktop:

  1. Click on Start the point to Run.
  2. Click and hold the Run icon and drag it to your desktop.

Everything finished. Now you have the Run shortcut icon on your desktop. It will be easier to access the Run dialog now. Enjoy it!
